A perfect way to enjoy your favorite fish dish

When it comes to preparing a dish with fish, people often get stuck on what recipe to use. There are endless possibilities for incorporating this healthy protein into your meal plan, but we've got a perfect way to make your favorite fish dish even more amazing.

In this recipe, we'll be using tilapia as our main ingredient. This fish is low in fat and calories, making it a great option if you're looking to stay on track with your diet. Plus, it has a mild flavor that won't overpower other ingredients in the dish.

Here are the steps you need to follow:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.

  2. In a baking dish, place a single layer of tilapia filets. If your dish is bigger than the size of your filets, you can easily overlap them slightly.

  3. Spread 2 tablespoons of marinara sauce over each filet. You can use store-bought sauce or prepare your own version at home. We recommend using a tomato-based sauce rather than cream-based, as it will be lighter and healthier overall.

  4. Sprinkle 1/4 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese over each filet. Be sure to use fresh mozzarella rather than pre-shredded; the latter contains additives that can prevent it from melting smoothly when baked.

  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until the filets are cooked through and the cheese is melted and bubbly on top. Serve immediately with a side of whole wheat pasta or brown rice for a complete meal!
